Anti-wrinkle injections for wrinkle-smoothing are one of the cosmetic injections performed at Ezyhealth Cosmetic Skin And Body Clinic in Melbourne.
Anti-wrinkle injections containing Botulinum Toxin Type A are used for the treatment of frown lines, forehead lines and crow's feet. They should be administered only by trained medical professionals after assessing the benefits/risks of the procedure. Our clinician will also review with you what to expect following your treatment with anti-wrinkle injections.
To follow your results, as well as for other documentation reasons, you may be photographed and the results recorded in your confidential patient file.
To ensure you are happy with the results, a review appointment will be made for your follow-up assessment approximately two weeks after your treatment.
The effects of treatment with anti-wrinkle injections should last between 2 to 5 months, after which time further treatment may be necessary. There is some evidence indicating that over time, regular repeat anti-wrinkle injection treatments may improve the duration of effect of your treatment.
To maintain the benefits of your treatment, a re-treatment four months later is recommended.
People with defective neuro-muscular transmission disorders, infection at the site of injection, glaucoma, pregnancy and lactation.
